Les acteurs de la place financière suisse s'unissent pour aider à développer Net-Zero Data Public Utility

Le 26 juin 2023, lors du Forum Point Zero, le Secrétariat d’État aux questions financières internationales (SFI) et quatre associations influentes représentant les institutions financières suisses ont annoncé la première initiative au niveau national réunissant des institutions publiques et privées pour contribuer au développement du Net-Zero Data Public Utility (NZDPU). Dans le cadre de cet accord, des institutions financières suisses de premier plan testeront la plateforme - une étape importante vers le lancement d'un référentiel centralisé offrant un accès gratuit à des données vérifiables et fondamentales liées à la transition clim atique. Il s'agit de la première initiative publique-privée visant à tester une nouvelle plateforme de données climatiques à l'échelle nationale.

Iwan Deplazes, Chairman of the Asset Management Association Switzerland commented: “NZDPU is the logical and necessary consequence of the Swiss climate strategy to stop emitting greenhouse gases after 2050 and to become a Net-Zero society. The Asset Management Association Switzerland is convinced that NZDPU is the right tool to document the Net Zero transition by creating transparency and providing accessible as well as reliable data on the progress of CO2 emission reductions. The asset management industry has an important role to play in the Net Zero transition and is well aware of its responsibilities. We therefore encourage our members to test the new platform and to help spread its use.”
